Job Overview:
RWJ Barnabas Health is looking for an Administrative Director for the Morris Cancer Center in New Brunswick, NJ. The Administrative Director of Operations provides leadership and operational support through directing/facilitating short and long term planning; program and project development; control and monitoring project scheduling and implementation; implementing financial controls and reporting budget variances.
Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's Degree required;
+ Master s Degree in Health Care, Business or Public Administration preferred,
+ 2-3 years of relevant leadership experience in an healthcare operations role
Essential Functions:
+ The Director assists in enhancing the efficient operations to ensure high quality, cost effective and compassionate patient centered care,
+ Implements strategic initiatives in alignment with the Hospital s strategic initiatives and goals,
+ Partners in the support of department/division and institutional projects, recruitment, policy implementation and serves as the primary conduit to the VP/AVP for RWJ New Brunswick operations,
+ Ensure that unit/department/division is in compliance with all applicable policies, laws and regulations.
+ Directs and oversees daily operations of assigned departments to ensure quality patient care while functioning in compliance with critical operational, regulatory, coding and reimbursement guidelines,
+ Utilizes knowledge of policies, system processes, and outside regulatory agency requirements to provide expertise in developing innovative tools, projects and programs to assist in accomplishment of established goals,
+ Maintains interface with department leaders and staff to ensure efficient patient flow is maintained; redirecting and reallocating resources as necessary,
+ Collaborates with clinical and support staff to foster delivery of quality care
+ Responsible for assuring the assigned services are in compliance with all standards and regulations set forth by Joint Commission on the Accreditation of Hospitals JCAHO, New Jersey Department of Health and other relevant regulatory organizations,
