    Job Summary and Responsibilities

     

    As a Pharmacy Technician I at Community Hospital of San Bernardino, you will support the pharmacy team in preparing and dispensing medications, IV admixtures, and chemotherapy while ensuring accuracy and compliance with hospital policies. Your role is essential in maintaining accurate patient records, managing medication charges, and contributing to the overall efficiency of pharmacy operations.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Assist pharmacists in preparing, compounding, and dispensing medications

    + Prepare IV admixtures and chemotherapy treatments under supervision

    + Maintain accurate patient records and manage medication charges

    + Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards

    + Support the hospital’s mission by contributing to safe and effective patient care

    Job Requirements

    + Minimum of One 1 year hospital pharmacy experience, including unit-dose, IV additives and computer entry is required.

    + High school diploma or equivalent is required.

    + Pharmacy Technician Certification is required.

    Pay Range

    $34.35 - $34.35 /hour
