    Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic

    Job Description

    A manufacturing company is seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to maintain and repair a wide range of production equipment and systems.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on CNC machines, EDMs, lathes, Swiss machines, water jets, robotic systems, presses, and other manufacturing equipment to reduce downtime.

    + Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC issues.

    + Interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics for accurate repairs and installations.

    + Conduct inspections and maintain detailed records of maintenance activities.

    + Assist with approximately 10 new equipment installations annually.

    + Operate forklifts and lifting equipment safely.

    + Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve equipment reliability and efficiency.

    + Follow all safety protocols during maintenance and installation tasks.

    Essential Skills

    + 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience on CNC machines

    + Proficiency with electrical maintenance tasks, blueprints, and schematics

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Tech Degree (Preferred)

    + Experience working independently in an industrial maintenance position (Preferred)

    Work Environment

     

    The position is for the 3rd shift, Sunday night to Thursday morning (11PM-7AM), with initial training on the 1st shift, Monday to Friday for the first 8-12 weeks (7AM-3PM). The facility is massive with 500 employees, and there are 15 maintenance employees on the 1st shift, but none on the 3rd shift.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Paul, MN.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $37.80 - $44.23/hr.
