Job Title: Production Worker

Job Description

We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our production department within a fiberglass plant. This is a long-term opportunity with potential for advancement. Successful candidates will work with raw fiberglass, setting up and tearing down production lines, measuring and cutting materials, and maintaining a fast and steady pace.

Responsibilities

+ Set up production lines in the fiberglass plant.

+ Measure pieces accurately using a tape measure.

+ Use cut-off saws to cut materials to the correct length.

+ Tear down production lines as needed.

+ Work efficiently with raw fiberglass materials.

Essential Skills

+ 6 months of general labor experience.

+ 6 months of tape measure experience.

+ 6 months of production experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Ability to read a tape measure within the first 30 days.

+ Basic hand tool knowledge is desirable.

+ Familiarity with blueprints and manufacturing processes.

+ Experience with construction or forklift operation is a plus.

Work Environment

Work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with exposure to dusty conditions, strong resin smells, and floating fiberglass particles. The temperature can vary significantly, ranging from hot in the summer to cold in the winter. Employees will acclimate over time, but it's important to be prepared for the initial adjustment period.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bedford, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $19.00/hr.
