    WHAT YOU'LL DO

    Our client base is constantly growing and we’re looking for great software engineers to make our team better. As a Software Engineer, you’ll be a technical contributor for our Aware platform. You’ll be challenged often and will find yourself working on all areas of the application domain across the full app delivery stack.

     

    + Design and implement highly resilient, scalable, and performant solutions that solve complex healthcare problems using VueJS, NodeJS, Java, Python, AWS and more.

    + Participate in technical and product discussions with leaders across our engineering, product, and business teams.

    + Self-reliance, without supervision, while showcasing best design/communication/solution practices in daily works.

    + Ensure continuously improve our standard of engineering excellence

    WHAT YOU'LL NEED

    + **What You’ll Need** **Minimum Requirements:**

    + BS in Computer Science or related area

    + 3+ years of software development experience.

    + Strong foundation in computer science principles, including algorithms, data structures, and system design building scalable web applications and backend services

    + Solid understanding of software engineering best practices, such as version control, testing, and continuous integration

    + Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, Go, C#, etc.)

    + Familiarity with web technologies, APIs, and distributed systems

    + Experience in relational schema design and SQL

    + Familiarity with Shift Left and test automation

    + Effective communication skills and ability to work both independently and in a team

    + Highly self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership; proactively identifies opportunities, takes initiative without being asked, and follows through with persistence.

    + Travel to and from company headquarters in Austin, Texas is required for new hire orientation, onboarding and occasional company meetings

    Preferred Requirements:

    + Experience with generative AI, machine learning, and predictive algorithms

    + Familiarity with statistics and healthcare domain

    + Expertise with distributed event streaming platforms like Kafka

    + Experience with data pipeline technologies
