As a **Lead** **Radiation Therapist** , you’ll play a vital role in patient treatment and safety.     Radiation Therapists have opportunities to expand their skills through ongoing training, mentorship, and exposure to advanced technologies. With flexible scheduling and a supportive environment, you’ll be empowered to grow professionally while maintaining balance outside of work.

    Role Overview:

    + Administer radiation oncology treatments according to the Radiation Oncologist's prescription under a minimum of supervision.

    + Keep accurate daily records of treatments administered.

    + Instruct students on technical procedures during their clinical rotations under the supervision of the Chief Therapist.

    Key Qualifications

    + Graduate of an A.M.A. approved 2-year training program in radiation therapy technology or its equivalent is **required** .

    + Registered Radiation Therapy licensure in the state of New York is **required** .

    + Certification in American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) is **required**

    + BLS **Required**

    + A good decision-maker, with demonstrated success at making timely decisions that keep the organization moving forward.

    + Adept at building partnerships and working collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives and goals.

    + An effective communicator, capable of determining how best to reach different audiences and communicating based on that understanding.

    Additional Information:

    + Schedule: Flexible shifts, Monday - Friday, 37.5 hrs.

    + Location: Main Campus, 1275 York Ave, NY

    + Report to: Chief Radiation Therapist, Regional
