    As a Quality Engineer II here at Honeywell, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products. You will be responsible for implementing quality assurance processes and methodologies to enhance product performance and customer satisfaction.

     

    You will report directly to our Quality Manager, and you’ll work out of our Charlotte, NC location.

     

    In this role, you will impact the overall quality of our products by identifying areas for improvement, conducting audits, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with quality standards.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Work with a team of quality technicians, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

    + Develop and implement comprehensive quality assurance strategies, plans, and processes that form the backbone of our quality initiatives.

    + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement corrective actions for quality issues.

    + Ensure that site documentation is kept in accordance with Corporate Quality standards and ISO 9001 requirements.

    + Perform internal audits according to a set internal audit schedule.

    + Conduct data analyses from a set data source to identify opportunities for improvement in the electronic repair process

    MUST HAVES

    + Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in technical disciplines such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics (equivalent years of experience in place of degree)

    + 6 years of experience in the manufacturing industry, demonstrating your understanding of the unique quality challenges in this sector

    + Experience with quality management systems and methodologies

    + Strong collaboration and teamwork skills, fostering a culture of quality and excellence across the organization Proficiency in root cause analysis, problem-solving techniques, and RCA tools

    + Experience in participating in and leading ISO 9001 audits

    + Deep understanding of data analysis, including data normalization, trend interpretation, and formulating action items based on those trends.

    WE VALUE

    + Advanced degrees in Engineering or related fields.

    + Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma methodologies.

    + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

    + Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
