Fabrication Supervisor

Job Duties:
+ Manage, train, and mentor a team of fabricators, ensuring compliance with safety standards and production goals.
+ Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
+ Assign tasks based on skill sets and project requirements, balancing workload among team members.
+ Coordinate with project managers and other departments to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
+ Monitor production schedules and adjust staffing or resources to prevent delays.
+ Oversee the setup and operation of fabricating machines
+ Ensure all products meet dimensional and quality requirements as per blueprints and schematics.
+ Review and approve final inspections before delivery.
+ Identify and resolve fabrication issues, minimizing downtime and waste.
+ Recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and product quality.
+ Maintain accurate records of production activities, equipment maintenance, and team performance.
+ Report key performance indicators (KPIs), including productivity and material usage.
+ Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
+ Three plus years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or industrial fabrication setting required
+ Advanced knowledge of fabrication processes, tools, and machinery required
+ Strong understanding of quality assurance procedures (QAPs) required
+ Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills required
+ Proficiency in interpreting blueprints and schematics required
+ High levels of organizational and time management skills required
+ High levels of analytical, observational, and active listening skills required
+ High levels of reliability required
+ Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal required
+ Ability to pass physical, drug, driving, and background checks required
+ Ability to physically push, pull, and lift 50lbs or more required
+ Ability to stoop and bend required
+ Ability to sit, stand, and walk for four plus hours at a time required
+ Ability to read a tape measure and prints required
+ Ability to convert decimals to fractions and utilize conversion charts required
+ Excellent manual dexterity required
+ Excellent color vision and eyesight required
