    Job Summary

    This role's main responsibility is financial and commercial reporting, analysis, and general support for financial and commercial executive requirements. It will focus heavily on streamlining and automating reporting, providing insightful analysis, and continually identifying opportunities for process and cost improvements.Key responsibilities include learning how to manage and maintain a robust suite of commercial analysis tools and processes to support strategic decision-making and business development initiatives. This role calls for a positive, hardworking, and results-oriented individual committed to accountability and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will bring a solid foundation in accounting, finance and commercial analytics knowledge with teamwork capabilities and a proactive mindset focused on accountability, innovation, and delivering measurable results.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Support the ongoing development and refinement of commercial and financial analytics tool, including revenue and margin analysis, performance tracking, and volume/price/mix variance analysis in order to support timely, data-driven decision-making.

    + Collaborate proactively with business stakeholders to identify and implement opportunities for streamlining reporting processes and enhancing analytical capabilities.

    + Support the annual budgeting cycle in partnership with Commercial, Customer Experience, R&D, and Marketing teams, ensuring cross-functional alignment and accuracy across all business units.

    + Assist commercial finance teams in producing monthly BPC P&L reports, supporting precise financial tracking and sales forecasting.

    + Prepare comprehensive, data-driven materials for business review meetings that empower key stakeholders to make informed decisions.

    + Serve as a trusted business partner by collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to align financial and commercial strategies with overall business objectives.

    + Partner with IT teams to optimize business intelligence solutions and refine master data structures, enhancing reporting efficiency and data integrity.

    + Maintain and evolve Tableau dashboards and other reporting tools used by commercial and finance teams, ensuring delivery of timely, accurate, and actionable insights.

    + Provide monthly cost center analyses to all the teams supported, enabling effective budget monitoring and variance analysis.

    + Provide ad-hoc reporting and analytical support as needed to business partners and leadership team.

     

    Required Education & Experience

     

    Bachelor's degree Business Administration, Accounting or Finance required.

     

    Minimum 5 years experience in financial analysis or relevant business experience.

     

    Strong analytical and computer skills required. Excel super user (pivot tables, V-Lookups, macros, ability to manage large amounts of data). High level proficiency with other Microsoft Office applications.

     

    Experience and comfort with working with IT financial systems required. A high degree of knowledge of all Southwire IT financial systems a plus.

     

    Confidentiality in handling sensitive financial information.

     

    Highly motivated self-starter with good organizational skills to meet tight deadlines and to perform in a fast-paced environment.

     

    Interact closely with management and the ability to provide recommendations for process improvement.

     

    Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with all levels of personnel across various functions.

     

    Ability to gather information and review assumptions for logic and reasonableness.

     

    Capable of working in a time-driven environment while providing accurate information.

     

    Flexibility to work extended hours as required to meet deadlines.

     

    Highly motivated self-starter with good organizational skills to meet tight deadlines and to perform in a fast-paced environment.

     

    Understand the use and application of Business Planning & Consolidation (BPC), BI Business Analysis (COPA).

     

    Preferred Education & Experience

    Master's Degree

    5 years experience in financial analysis or relevant business experience.

     

    CGMA, CMA and/or CPA designation a plus.
