Oracle Cloud is seeking a **leader for the Distributed Cloud busines** s. This role has a global responsibility over technical and business programs for Distributed Cloud. A successful leader will have experience in working with geographically separated teams and across multiple engineering divisions. A successful candidate will have a strong passion and extensive background in cloud platforms and program management. Experience in managing cross functional teams in complex technology integration projects is required. Equally important is a proven track record of establishing positive relationships with internal product teams, support organization, external and third parties, and executive stakeholders.
Responsibilities
As the Senior Director, you will support Oracle Cloud Infrastructure in creating scalable programs, repeatable processes and will be forward deployed to lead high-visibility special projects across Oracle business units.
+ Design and drive programs that support Distributed Cloud and create mechanisms of scale
+ Create, implement, and track strategic plans, developing KPIs and success metrics where required.
+ Design and drive mechanisms of scale to provide consistent experiences across the product lifecycle
+ Identify, drive and track progress of process and tooling improvement initiatives
+ Foster a customer-focused data-driven team culture
+ Keep your technical skills honed and develop new ones
+ Culture and people: Staffing, On-Boarding, and Skilling up new TPMs hires, coaching & Mentoring TPMs in their day-to-day engagement approach
Work with engineering, support, PM teams, and exec management to improve the customer experience. Contribute to a positive team environment and proactively help team members to meet and exceed team goals, quality standards, and product improvement. Review customer feedback on products, investigate possible issues, and take a lead to resolve them in a timely manner.
Basic Qualifications:
An innovative leader who can look beyond the technology stack and passionate about customer
success.
+ 8+ years relevant work experience in program and project management
+ 5+ years of experience in management of technical, customer facing team
+ Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Prior experience in managing distributed teams
+ Prior experience in managing technical programs in hyperscale cloud providers
+ Prior experience in driving technical programs related to reliability, scalability and operations
+ Strong ability to write concise proposal documents
+ Experience with other cloud platform including AWS, Azure, GCP & VMware is a plus
+ Excellent analytical, technical, and communication skills

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only
US: Hiring Range in USD from: $161,700 to $338,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

10. Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
