Team Manager - Texas and New Mexico

Team Managers are responsible for overseeing the efforts of the Lead and Area Supervisors in recruiting, hiring, and training School Crossing Guards to ensure the safety of the community. Lead and Area Supervisors manage the scheduling and payroll for the guards. The Supervisor position is a field-based position that makes regular visits to your employees at their place of assignment. The Team Manager manages, coaches, and develops Supervisors both in the field and at off-site settings. RESPONSIBILITIES:

+ Reports to the National Operations Manager.

+ Manages the efforts of Lead Supervisors and Area Supervisors to obtain operational excellence.

+ Must be familiar with all Company policies and procedures as outlined in Employee Handbook for School Crossing Guards and Instruction Manual for Area Supervisors.

+ Responsible for monitoring budgeted hours for Lead Supervisors and Field Supervisors.

+ Manages and monitors the training processes for all Crossing Guards through the Lead Supervisors.

+ Communicates operational expectations to Lead Supervisors, Area Supervisors and/or Field Supervisors and maintains compliance with the same.

+ Responsible for identifying hiring & overseeing the training for all Lead Supervisors.

+ Assists Lead Supervisors in the identifying and hiring of Area Supervisors.

+ Communicates upwards with the on the status and needs from the field.

REQUIREMENTS:

+ Must demonstrate leadership and organizational skills sufficient to manage assigned area.

+ Must demonstrate good oral and written communication skills.

+ Must have computer skills adequate to create, save and manipulate documents, scan and upload PDF's, send/receive frequent emails and access web-based information as necessary for efficient communication and record keeping.

+ Must have computer skills adequate .

+ Must be self-motivated and dependable.

+ Must have reliable personal transportation and maintain proof of current automobile insurance.

+ Must be able to store, lift and transport various items of equipment weighing approximately 20 pounds.

+ Must provide inventory control and storage of field equipment, administrative supplies and employee documents.

+ Must meet all requirements of and be fully competent in performing the duties of a School Crossing Guard.

+ Some overnight travel is required.

+ 5 or more years of management experience is required.

Pay range for Texas Team Manager is $80,000 annually. Position is eligible for yearly bonus and other benefits.
