Hours: 48 hours/week, Mon. - Sat. 8 hours/day, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Employer may request but cannot require workers to work on their Sabbath. The nature of farm work may require workers to work after dark and possibly weekends depending on weather conditions. Hours offered may vary based on factors such as weather or other unpredictable variables that impact the farm’s operation.

Job Duties: Manipulate controls to set, activate, and adjust machinery; Operate or tend self propelled equipment and implements used in agricultural production for duties such as cultivating, harvesting, storing crops and grinding/mixing feeds for swine production; Drive truck, tractor, or other equipment to distribute; Perform duties related to livestock reproduction such as breeding sows within appropriate timeframes, performing artificial inseminations, and helping with farrowing; Help baby pigs to survive birth and infancy; Examine animals to detect illness, injury, or disease, and to castrate, notch ears, vaccinate; Cleans stalls and pens by flushing waste into holding pits; Inspect, maintain, and repair equipment, machinery, buildings, pens, yards, and fences; Drive farm vehicle.
Upon hire worker may be required to take a drug test at no cost to the worker and be subject to the employer's drug free and alcohol-free workplace policy including testing protocols. Testing positive for an illegal/controlled substance or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment.
Work includes exposure to extreme temperatures, extensive pushing, pulling, sitting, walking, frequent stooping or bending over, and repetitive movements.
### Minimum Education Required
None.
No High School Diploma or GED is required.
### Minimum Experience Required
Three (3) months recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed.
Must be able to obtain appropriate Class D driver's license following hire and obtain clean driving record.
Be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

### Additional Compensation
Employer may, at the company’s sole discretion, pay workers at a rate above the minimum required and/or provide additional compensation such as bonuses, fixed salaries, PTO, insurance, incentive pay, or other benefits to any worker employed under this job order based on lawful, non-discriminatory factors including skill, performance, tenure with the employer, licensing, training, punctuality, or prior related experience.
As required for all workers in Minnesota, hours worked in excess of 48 hours in a work week will be paid at the rate of 1.5 times the regular rate of pay.

### Job Benefits
EMPLOYER ASSURANCES: Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $16.28 per day during travel to a maximum of $68.00 per day with receipts. Required work-related tools and supplies provided free of charge by employer.
Effective Jan 1, 2024, per MN State Statute, an employee will earn one hour of paid sick and safe time for every 30 hours worked, up to at least 48 hours of accrued Earned Sick and Safe Time (ESST) per year, provided the employee works a minimum of 80 hours in a calendar year.
