    Custodian - Penn Central Mall (Weekends - Evenings)

     

    The Musco Facilities Department is seeking a Custodian to work from our Penn Central Mall location.This position is responsible for ensuring a clean, safe and welcoming environment for properties maintained by PCM custodial staff.Please note, this position will work evening hours and requires weekend work, holiday work and occasional overtime.Specific hours for this role are Thursday -Saturday: 1 p.m. - 11 p.m. and Sunday 12 p.m. - 10 p.m.If you are solutions-focused, detail-orientated, and thrive in a fun, fast-paced environment, we look forward to hearing from you!

    Essential Criteria:

    + GED required / high school diploma

    + Previous custodial experience preferred

    + Able to follow established procedures

    + Basic knowledge of cleaning requirements

    + Good work ethic and takes pride in work

    + Ability to prioritize and complete multiple duties

    + Must be self-directed and able to work independently

    + Able to communicate well with other team members

    + Basic computer knowledge a plus, excel a plus

    + Must pass a pre-employment physical, drug screen, and background check

    Roles and Responsibilities:

    + Dispose of trash from all trash receptacles (inside and outside) each day

    + Pick up trash in parking lots, around entrances, loading docks, dumpsters and landscaped areas

    + Maintain all floors by mopping, vacuuming, dust mopping or floor machine

    + Clean and sanitize all restrooms

    + Set up and tear down equipment, tables and chairs needed for events held at PCM

    + Dust, sweep, mop, clean, vacuum properties maintained by PCM custodial staff

    + Maintain all cleaning equipment as needed to ensure proper performance

    + Assist with ordering, inventory, and management of supply items and cleaning supplies

    + When necessary, encourage customers to follow PCM expectations to promote a safe environment

    + Clean glass/windows

    + Other duties as assigned
