JOB SUMMARY

Our DFA/Kemps Dairy has an immediate job opening for a Materials Expeditor to compile and maintain inventory and status information to expedite movement of materials according to schedule and

priorities.

JOB DUTIES

+ Read schedules and inventory reports to determine type and quantity required, availability of stock, and order priority

+ Repack products based on order requirements

+ Proactively interact and communicate inter and intra-departmentally to ensure consistent and efficient work flow

+ Ensure all required information is documented in accordance with SOP’s

+ Utilizing continuous improvement mindset, assist in identifying opportunities to improve processes

+ Report any food safety and food quality related issues to management immediately

+ Vacation Relief - provide relief when needed for various schedules

+ Maintain safe working conditions for employees and compliance with all State and Federal regulations regarding health and safety issues

+ Follow all DFA good manufacturing practices (GMP) and work in a manner consistent with all corporate regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements

OUR MATERIAL EXPEDITORS MAKE:

+ $26.15 per hour

SCHEDULE: Mon. - Fri. 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM - Schedule may vary according to scheduling relief needs

Requirements

+ High school diploma or GED preferred

+ Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimal

+ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

+ Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings including drug, background and criminal checks

+ Able to effectively work in a team environment

+ Able to legibly write entries for record keeping

+ Able to use company computer systems

+ Able to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing

+ Able to follow directions

+ Must be able to read, write and speak English

+ Must have a valid driver’s license. Must have a clean driving record.

+ Must be able to drive a box truck
