    What you'll do...

     

    Oversees Dairy Plant sanitation practices by developing and managing sanitation accounts to budget; supervising the cleaning of the plant and equipment to meet GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) Handbook guidelines; ensuring plant sanitation practices meet all company and regulatory standards (for example, HACPP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point)); maintaining plant cleaning schedules; maintaining the supply and usage of all plant sanitation chemicals; ensuring compliance with MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) requirements and that cleaning agents are properly used; working with chemical suppliers; continuously seeking ways to improve sanitation operations through automation and system refinement; and reviewing and approving all documentation with regards to plant sanitation. Oversees and supervises the daily workloads of each shift Sanitation Specialist and the MSS Coordinator by prioritizing Sanitation Program elements, identifying work windows and resources, and directing standard work; coordinating cleaning and maintain sanitation records; and overseeing and validating all CIP/COP (Clean In Place/Clean Out of Place) activities. Oversees the chemical and sanitation equipment training for sanitation associates and supports, including but not limited to chemical security, chemical safety, food safety and food quality by developing all required training and verifying that all associates have been properly trained in sanitation activities; supporting the chemical and sanitation equipment training of all plant associates in various levels of depth depending on their position; and supporting the HAZWOPER/HAZMAT (Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response/Hazardous Materials) team as part of the PSM (Process Safety Management) program. Monitors and supervises all dairy plant and cooler pest control activities by working with the plant's Pest Control Operator; ensuring all pest management activities comply with Current Good Manufacturing Practices (CGMP); ensuring all pest management associates are fully trained in all related food safety requirements and all plant policies per NPMA (National Pest Management Association) standards; and ensuring all pest control record keeping practices are in compliance with all relevant policies and regulations. Coordinates, completes, and oversees job-related activities and assignments by developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders; supporting plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs; identifying and communicating goals and objectives; building accountability for and measuring progress in achieving results; identifying and addressing improvement opportunities; and demonstrating adaptability and promoting continuous learning. Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates by hiring and training; mentoring; assigning duties; providing recognition; and promoting a belonging mindset in the workplace. Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans; utilizing and supporting the Open Door Policy; and providing direction and guidance on applying these in executing business processes and practices.     The annual salary range for this position is $84,000.00 - $126,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :

    Minimum Qualifications...

    Bachelor’s degree in related field (for example, Science, Biology, Agricultural, or Sanitation) OR 5 years’ sanitation experience in a food processing facility.

     

    1 year's supervisory experience in manufacturing or food production facility.

     

    Experience and knowledge of Adenosine Triphosphate (ATP) swabbing program.
