PeopleReady Skilled Trades (PRST) is seeking skilled HVAC Technicians to join our team. The ideal candidates will be supporting our customers around the Langhorne, PA area and should have a strong background in HVAC/R systems, with the ability to troubleshoot, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. Responsibilities:

+ Install, maintain, and repair HVAC/R systems in residential and commercial settings

+ Troubleshoot issues using diagnostic tools such as an Ohmmeter to identify problems with electrical components

+ Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand system designs and layouts

+ Perform routine maintenance on HVAC equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency

+ Collaborate with other service technicians to complete larger projects or repairs as needed

+ Ensure compliance with local building codes and safety regulations during all work performed

+ Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their HVAC needs

Qualifications:

+ Proficient in reading schematics and blueprints related to HVAC/R systems

+ Strong mechanical skills with the ability to build, maintain, and repair various HVAC equipment

+ 5 years of experience as a service technician in the HVAC industry is preferred

+ Knowledge of refrigeration principles and the ability to troubleshoot refrigerant issues

+ Familiarity with plumbing systems as they relate to HVAC installations is a plus

+ Ability to work independently or as part of a team while managing multiple tasks efficiently

+ Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail

+ Clean driving record and able to pass a required background check

+ Will need to bring basic hand tools and cordless drill
