    Position Summary

    + Candidate will work with a team to optimize Q-beta based vaccine delivery devices.

    + This will involve extensive mutational exploration, with VLP expression, purification and extensive characterization.

    + The use of Cryo-EM will be of particular importance, with both negative staining techniques and high resolution data collection.

    Required Degree

    Doctorate -Chemistry

    Minimum Requirements

    +

     

    + + Applicant must have extensive experience in structural biology

    + Applicant must have extensive experience, specifically in Cryo-EM techniques, interpretation, data collection, data processing, etc.

    + Applicant must have extensive experience in protein biochemistry

    + Mutagenesis

    + Protein expression

    + Protein purification

    + Protein characterization.

    Desired Qualifications

    + Experience in other structural biology techniques such as NMR, solid state NMR, light scattering, size exclusion chromatography.
