As a Mill Team Member, you’ll be at the heart of our pasta production, ensuring the efficient and high-quality milling of semolina, flour, and feed products. You’ll operate and monitor advanced milling equipment, optimize performance, and ensure consistency that meets both company and industry standards.
Your responsibilities will include assessing wheat quality, performing routine equipment checks, and making precise adjustments to maintain proper flow and output. By combining attention to detail with teamwork and problem-solving, you’ll help us deliver safe, high-quality ingredients that are the foundation of food experiences families can trust.

Job Description:
**Schedule:** Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and every other Saturday.
**Hours:** 6:00pm to 6:15am
**Work Location:** 1000 Italian Way, Excelsior Springs, MO 54024
**Salary, based on experience and other qualifications:** $26.27 an hour, plus $1.50 shift differential with additional bonus potential.

+ **Safe Equipment Operation & Maintenance:**
+ Operate both cleaning houses andmilltomaintainmoisture levels and screening percentages.
+ Perform scheduled mill andcleaninghouse maintenance.
+ **Product Handling, Quality Control & Inventory Management** **:**
+ Ensure the production of quality,safe, and legal products.
+ Ensure semolina meets quality standards.
+ Safely load/unload railcars and trucks with flour, by-products, and wheat.
+ Take daily bin inventory measurements.
+ **Food Safety & Sanitation Compliance** **:**
+ Follow GMP, HACCP, SQF,BRC,FSMA, and company food safety policies.
+ Follow proper storage procedures for products.
+ Maintain cleanliness in assigned areas and an audit-ready work environment.
+ Promptly report any safety or qualityconcerns.
+ **Team Collaboration, Leadership & Training** **:**
+ Assistteam members, adapt to operational changes, and contribute to productivity, safety, and quality goals.
+ **Documentation, Communication & Continuous Improvement** **:**
+ Complete magnet/tailing logs and Master Sanitation Schedules.
+ Monitor enrichment feeder rates.
+ Minimize shift downtime to meet or exceed run efficiency standards.
+ Use computer systems foroperations andreporting.
+ Maintainaccuratematerial handling records.
+ Participate in improvement projects.
+ Activelyparticipatein all required training.
+ Participate in 5S efforts.
Knowledge, Training and Experience:
Education & Experience** **:
+ High School Diploma or GEDrequired.
+ Previousexperience using computerized equipment to produce quality mill products.
+ 18+ years of age.
Technical & Mechanical Skills** **:
+ Ability tooperate, troubleshoot, andadvise on minor adjustments to formulas or processes.
+ Mechanical aptitude with the ability toidentifyand resolvequalityirregularities.
+ Proficiencyin SAP, hand scanners, and basic math skills.
+ Advanced levels requireproficiencyin MII, WE systems, and interpreting line huddle measures to resolve issues.
+ Computer literacy in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Safety & Compliance** **:
+ Knowledge of GMPs, SQF, HACCP, FSMA, and other food safety regulations.
+ Commitment to following all company safety policies and procedures.
+ Ability tolift upto 50lbs.,push heavy loads, stand/walk up to 90% ofshift, and climb as needed.
+ Must have near and far visual acuity, some color perception, andfullrange of hand/arm movement.

+ Provide training, guidance, and feedback to team members (progressively more responsibility at higher levels).

Physical Demands:
+ Employees must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time. Tasks may involve frequent climbing, pulling, pushing, carrying, grasping, reaching, twisting, turning, and stooping.
+ Ability tolift upto 50lbsfrequently.
+ Must have good hand-eye coordination, motor skills, and 20/20 corrected vision.
+ Must have normal hearing and vision (with correction if needed), including the ability to distinguish colors for color-coded containers in production areas.
+ Employeesmust wear all required PPE according to the specific manufacturing environment, as outlined in the Employee Handbook, posted policies, or as directed by leadership.
+ Must adhere to all safety policies, including lock-out/tag-out, safe lifting techniques, and others as instructed.
+ Exposure to wet, humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, high areas, fumes, airborne particles, extreme temperatures, electrical risks, and vibrations depending on the area assigned
+ Mustmaintaina clean and safe work environment and report any food safety or quality issuesimmediatelyto management.
