    **BayCare** is currently in search of our newest **Acute** **Physical Therapist - Pool/PRN** who is passionate about providing outstanding customer service to our community.     Acute Physical Therapist Responsibilities:

    + Perform thorough evaluations of patients’ physical and functional status, especially in complex or medically fragile cases.

    + Develop individualized treatment plans based on physician orders, patient goals, and evidence-based practices.

    + Provide therapeutic interventions, including mobility training, bed mobility, transfer training, gait training, and neuromuscular re-education.

    + Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, mobility techniques, and precautions to promote safety and recovery.

    + Monitor and document patient progress and revise care plans as necessary.

    + Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, case managers, and other healthcare team members to coordinate care.

    + Recommend discharge plans, including home therapy, outpatient rehab, or post-acute care, based on patient progress and needs.

    **Requirements** :

    + Required BLS (Basic Life Support)

    + Required PT (Physical Therapy)

    + Or PT (Physical Therapy) Eligible to obtain

    + Or PT (Physical Therapy) Temporary and licensure within 6 months

    + Required Bachelor's Physical Therapy

    + Preferred 1 year Physical Therapist
