Our services include a state-of-the-art psychiatric urgent care center and a soon-to-be-built pediatric behavioral health center, outpatient, inpatient, partial hospitalization (day programs), assessment and testing, residential, addiction treatment and specialty services such as crisis response, employee assistance programs, forensic psychiatry and psychology, and neuromodulation. On-the-job educational programs for nurses, psychologists, advanced practice providers, psychiatrists, and chaplains are equipping the next generation of care providers.

What Will You Do?

As a Senior Accountant at Pine Rest, you’ll be part of tight-knit team that believes in the healing power of your expertise and compassion.The Senior Accountant reports to the Director of Finance. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, general ledger accountability, and financial reporting, as well as financial profitability, third party reimbursement, external audit, analysis and other special projects as assigned. The Senior Accountant is dedicated to excellent customer service, enthusiastic about the care we offer, and foster a sense of belonging and empowerment in a diverse workplace.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

+ Verify, allocate, post and reconcile transactions.

+ Produce error-free accounting reports and present results.

+ Analyze financial information and summarize financial status.

+ Provide technical support and advice to management.

+ Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures.

+ Participate in financial standards setting and in forecast process.

+ Provide input into department’s goal setting process.

+ Prepare financial statements in timely and accurate manner.

+ Support month-end and year-end close process.

What Does This Role Require?

+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. MBA or CPA preferred.

+ Minimum ten years (10) of related accounting experience, preferably in healthcare or non-profit relatedorganizations.

+ Experience working with external audits and creating financial statements required.

+ Experience as Senior Accountant preferred.

+ Experience in grant accounting preferred.
