Job Description
Teledyne ETM is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented **Module Lab Electronics Technician** to support the testing, troubleshooting, and validation of electronic circuit cards, FPGA-based systems, microcontrollers, and programmable logic devices. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with digital and analog electronics, and industrial control logic (e.g., ladder logic).
Key Responsibilities:
+ Perform functional and parametric testing of **circuit cards** , **FPGA boards** , and **microcontroller-based systems** .
+ Develop and execute **test procedures** and **test plans** based on engineering specifications.
+ Use oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, multimeters, and other diagnostic tools to verify performance and identify faults.
+ Program and validate **FPGA configurations** (e.g., using VHDL/Verilog) and **microcontroller firmware** .
+ Troubleshoot and repair defective units down to the component level.
+ Interface with engineering teams to provide feedback on design and test results.
+ Support **automated test equipment (ATE)** and develop scripts for test automation.
+ Work with **PLC systems** and **ladder logic** to validate control boards.
+ Maintain accurate documentation of test results, failures, and corrective actions.
+ Ensure compliance with quality standards and ESD protocols.
+ Other duties as assigned by Manufacturing Manager
Qualifications:
+ Associate’s degree or technical certification in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related field (Bachelor’s preferred).
+ 3+ years of experience in electronics testing or manufacturing support.
+ Proficiency in reading schematics, datasheets, and technical drawings.
+ Proficiency in soldering
+ Experience with **microcontroller programming**
+ Familiarity with **FPGA development tools** is a plus
+ Knowledge of **PLC systems** and **ladder logic programming** is a plus
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
+ Applicants must be either a U.S. citizen, U.S. national, legal permanent resident, asylee, refugee or must be eligible to apply for and obtain the appropriate export control license from the U.S. Departments of State or Commerce
Salary Range:
$42,800.00-$57,100.000
