    At Hologic, our Reagent Formulation and Fill Team is all about delivering top-notch diagnostic reagents that make a real difference in healthcare. As a Summer Intern, you’ll work side-by-side with industry leaders, helping us evaluate and improve the processes that power our mission. Whether you’re passionate about problem-solving, data, or just curious how things get made, you’ll find your place (and your people) here!

    What you’ll be up to during your 10-12 week adventure:

    + Collaborate with manufacturing leaders to review and improve how we make our diagnostic reagents.

    + Collect and analyze data to spot trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities for making things run smoother.

    + Lead your own project to boost machine efficiency, cut downtime, or make our processes safer.

    + Help track project progress and keep everyone in the loop using innovation boards.

    + Pitch in with updating standard operating procedures and work instructions as we make improvements.

    Who we’re hoping to meet:

    + You can work full-time during the summer (May/June - August/September).

    + You’re currently working on your Bachelor’s degree, with at least one semester left after the internship.

    + Your major is in a STEM field (think: Science, Technology, Engineering, Math, or something similar).

    + You’re heading into your junior or senior year.

    + You know how to get your point across, whether you’re writing or speaking.

    + You’re a whiz with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

    + You have an eye for detail and love solving problems.

    + You’re comfortable working both solo and as part of a team.

    Location, pay & other important details:

    + **You can work onsite at our San Diego, CA campus. Heads up: intern housing, relocation, and housing stipends aren’t provided, so you’ll need to have your living situation and transportation sorted out.**

    + Pay range: $21 - $25 per hour, based on your class standing and operational function.
