We’re seeking a passionate and licensed Speech Language Pathologist to provide high-quality therapy services to students in grades K-8 or high school, depending on assignment. This is a rewarding opportunity to support communication development in a collaborative school environment.

     

    **Location** : Within New York City School District

    **Start Date** : ASAP

    **Contract Length** : 9+ months with direct placement option

    **Pay Range** : $55-60 per hour

    **Hours** : 30+ hours per week, during standard school week (no weekends)

    What You’ll Do

    + Deliver individualized speech and language therapy to students in assigned grade levels.

    + Conduct evaluations and develop tailored therapy plans to address communication challenges.

    + Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to ensure holistic support.

    + Maintain accurate records and complete all required documentation in a timely manner.

    + Support development of speech clarity, language comprehension, and social communication.

    + Implement strategies to enhance receptive and expressive language skills.

    + Educate families and school personnel on effective communication techniques.

    + Assist students with cognitive communication skills such as memory, problem-solving, and executive functioning.

    + Provide recommendations for continued therapy or additional support services.

    What We’re Looking For

    + Current, up-to-date resume

    + Active New York State Speech-Language Pathology license.

    + Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.

    + TSSLD Certification (Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities) is required (pending certification is acceptable).

    + Must pass drug screening, background check, and fingerprinting.

    + Commitment to a full academic year (9+ months).
