    As a **Security Officer - Mall Patrol Driving Role** in **Baldwin Park, CA** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and remaining highly visible at a prominent retail location.     What You'll Do:

    + Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

    + Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

    + Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify potential concerns.

    + Observe and report any irregularities, such as property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.

    + Work closely with store staff and management to address security-related issues as they arise.

    + Assist customers and visitors by providing information and guidance as needed while maintaining a professional presence.

    + Document all incidents and actions taken in accordance with Allied Universal protocols and site-specific guidelines.

    + Maintain a visible presence to help to deter theft, vandalism, and/or other unwanted activity within the retail environment.

    Minimum Requirements:

    + At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.

    + A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

    + Having a primarily driving post is preferred.

    + Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

    + Having a guard card or license is preferred.

    + Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

    + Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

    + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

    + Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

    + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

    + Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

    + A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
