The Training Coordinator is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing training programs to ensure that all configuration associates and control panel assemblers are proficient in their roles and adhere to company standards. This position will collaborate closely with our Manufacturing team to enhance skills, ensure quality, and maintain productivity within the panel and configuration departments.
Job Responsibilities
• Design and create comprehensive training programs that cover all aspects of configuration, control panel assembly, including programming measuring, cutting, wiring, and component installation.
• Facilitate training sessions, workshops, and hands-on demonstrations to equip configuration associates and assemblers with the necessary skills and knowledge for effective performance.
• Assess the performance of trainees through observations and feedback to ensure they meet the company’s standards and requirements.
• Identify skill gaps and areas for improvement within the team. Update training programs as needed based on feedback, performance metrics, and changes in industry standards.
• Work closely with the Leadership team to understand training needs and integrate their feedback into training initiatives.
• Maintain accurate records of training activities, attendance, and performance evaluations. Provide regular reports to management on training outcomes and program effectiveness.
• Monitor and ensure that all training practices and programs comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Assist with safety related activities and trainings to meet safety scorecard standards.
• Advocate for best practices in control panel assembly processes and ensure that trainees are familiar with industry standards and safety regulations.
• If no training to be completed, this individual will be working on the floor
Basic Qualifications
• High School Diploma
• Two years of related experience in a manufacturing or technical training role, with a focus on control panel assembly.
• Computer skills including ERP systems, MS Office, E-mail, and current Windows OS
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information and provide constructive feedback.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects.
Preferred Qualifications
• Relevant certifications or previous experience in training development or technical fields.
