Job description
We are looking for a methodical and passionate software tester who is driven to continuously learning and grow.
As a software tester on the IFE Software Team, you will be joining an experienced and collaborative team, working on a broad range of software applications.
Responsibilities include:
• *Develop and execute tests for specific features both airside and ground side
• *Create test cases, plans and documentation based on user stories and other inputs provided by the team
• *Regression, performance and integration testing of end-to-end workflow
• *Create and perform automation tests with documentation
• *Support incident investigation, including rack/cloud troubleshooting, log collection and analysis, documentation for above.
Qualifications and Education:
• A bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• *Proficient with Linux environments
• *Experience working in an Agile development environment
• *Some experience in PHP, MySQL, Python, Behave, C+KNOWLEDGE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS
Some experience in PHP, MySQL, Python, C++
• A technical background in development and test.
• Familiar with Unix and Linux OS. Basic understanding of systems administrator capabilities and command language for Linux is preferred.
• Ability to plan engineering activities to perform tasks.
• Learn to use professional concepts and apply company policies and procedures to resolve routine issues.
• Generally, existing practices and procedures apply in analyzing situations or data.
• Possess solid writing and communication skills.
• Ability to effectively communicate in English, in person and on the phone.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Sciences, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 0-3 years’ experience in software/system engineering development and/or software/hardware testing.
• IFE and/or Avionics industry experience is preferred.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
Ability to lift to 25 pounds.
• Majority of time spent at test rack (75%) which includes standing, lifting, bending, twisting and stooping.

**Pay Details:** $37.93 per hour
