    Job Title: Quality Assurance Laboratory Technician

    Description:

    We are seeking an entry-level Quality Assurance Laboratory Technician to join our team. In this role, you will support food safety and quality initiatives by performing microbiological testing and ensuring compliance with established protocols.

    Responsibilities:

    + Conduct general food microbiological testing, including pathogenic microorganism analysis, under the guidance of the Quality Assurance Supervisor.

    + Revise, edit, and create quality documentation as needed.

    + Accurately count and record microbiological plate results.

    + Assist with sample processing from receipt through testing, including documentation, recordkeeping, and data entry into internal systems.

    + Ensure all steps are completed thoroughly and on time, and promptly communicate updates to the Quality Assurance Supervisor.

    + Follow all GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and GLP (Good Laboratory Practices) guidelines.

    Required Skills:

    + Knowledge of food chemistry and food analysis testing.

    + Experience with QA/QC processes, sample preparation, and media preparation.

    + Familiarity with food science and biologics.

    Qualifications:

    + 1–2 years of experience in microbiological testing or food analysis in a lab setting.

    + Prior QA/QC experience in food manufacturing is required.

    + Associate degree or B.S. in Food Science, Chemistry, Microbiology, Biology, or a related field preferred.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ayer, MA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
