    Job Title: Quality ProductionJob Description

     

    Join a dynamic team dedicated to expanding access to high-quality, affordable medicines. This position involves handling a variety of tasks essential to the production process, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company policies.

    Responsibilities

    + Weigh finished products to detect missing components.

    + Clear line culls and document all components discarded.

    + Prepare shippers, inspect finished products, and package them into shippers. Seal, label, and stack shippers.

    + Fill cartons, carriers, or shippers by hand with products, labels, literature, or applicators.

    + Perform cleaning tasks on machines during or after machine operation.

    + Maintain compliance with SOPs, good documentation practices (GDP), training requirements, company and safety policies, and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs).

    + Verify correct lot code/expiration date on all packaging components/finished goods.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in pharmaceutical production.

    + Proficiency in machine operating and packaging.

    + Strong knowledge of Quality Assurance processes.

    + Familiarity with GMP and SOP standards.

    + Ability to operate machinery and perform packaging tasks.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + High school diploma or GED.

    + Minimum of 1 year experience working in production for a pharmaceutical company.

    + Experience in bottling, batching, packing, compounding, blending, inspection, mixing, and general production.

    Work Environment

    The work environment consists of a structured shift schedule. Initial training will be on the 1st shift (6:45 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.) for four weeks. Post-training, assignments may be on the 2nd shift (3 p.m. – 11:45 p.m.) or the 3rd shift (10:30 p.m. - 7:15 p.m.) based on availability. The work environment supports rotating holidays, a 45-minute lunch, and two 15-minute breaks. Emphasis is placed on a respectful, inclusive, and collaborative culture that fosters professional growth and community involvement.

    This is a Contract position based out of Hicksville, NY.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $62.70 - $66.00/hr.
