Job Title: Interior DesignerJob Description

We are seeking a skilled Interior Designer to implement design guidelines that support our brand identity. This role involves selecting furniture, fixtures, equipment, finishes, and other design elements to create cohesive and appealing environments. You will collaborate with external teams to ensure design solutions meet both aesthetic and functional requirements while aligning with budgetary constraints and strategic objectives.

Responsibilities

+ Partner with real estate and project management teams to develop conceptual design packages for presentation to leadership and stakeholders.

+ Ensure designs are aligned with budgetary constraints and strategic objectives.

+ Develop long-term design strategies for both customer-facing and employee-focused environments.

+ Support initiatives that enhance workplace culture, productivity, and brand representation.

+ Create and set a foundation, guidelines, and standards for future products.

+ Represent the Corporate Real Estate (CRE) team in client meetings, both internally and externally.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in Revit, interior design, furniture design, and fixture design.

+ Experience selecting and implementing furniture, fixtures, equipment, and finishes.

+ Knowledge of applicable design codes, including ADA compliance.

+ Strong skills in software such as Excel, Bluebeam, Revit, and InDesign.

+ Excellent presentation skills, a collaborative approach, problem-solving abilities, and strong communication skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Bachelor's Degree in a related field.

+ 8+ years of relevant experience in design, architecture, or hospitality.

+ NCIDQ certification is preferred.

Work Environment

This is a long-term contract position with the potential for conversion. The team operates with a start-up mindset within a well-known company, offering a flexible schedule with 3 days on-site at the Willis Tower. There is also the opportunity for travel. The Corporate Real Estate team is currently small but growing, with a supportive and collaborative atmosphere.

This is a Contract position based out of Chicago, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $65.00/hr.
