Now Hiring: Quality Lab Technician
Job Description
Join our team as a Quality Lab Technician, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and compliance of our products. You will work within a dynamic lab environment, utilizing state-of-the-art equipment and processes to test and verify product specifications.
Responsibilities
+ Operate lab equipment to test finished products and components, ensuring they meet specified parameters.
+ Perform multiple process checks throughout production, packaging, and warehousing functions.
+ Set up and calibrate HPLC and GC testing equipment.
+ Receive, document, and report batch testing results into specified systems.
+ Report quality results to supervisors and managers.
+ Perform physical property testing using various instrumentation.
+ Provide independent oversight of lab processes and verify compliance with company standards and policies.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related life science field is highly preferred.
+ Alternatively, 2+ years of experience in a production/quality lab setting.
+ Experience with HPLC/GC is highly preferred.
+ High School diploma is required.
Work Environment
The role is set in a manufacturing/plant setting with a dynamic lab environment. Strong communication skills are essential for interacting with operations, leadership, and plant management. The position requires adaptability, focus, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting. Physical requirements include the ability to stand for extended periods, frequent use of hands to handle tools and materials, and the ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Des Moines, IA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr.
