Job Title: Manufacturing Process TechnicianJob Description
The role of Manufacturing Process Technician involves supporting product manufacturing and product development activities. The position requires completion of routine documentation and performing equipment and process validations according to established procedures. The technician will also incorporate process improvements and cost reduction programs into manufacturing while adhering to cGMPs and industry regulations.
Responsibilities
+ Support manufacturing processes for the assigned area.
+ Complete routine documentation associated with product manufacturing.
+ Perform in-process product testing following standard procedures.
+ Incorporate pre-planned process improvements and cost reduction programs.
+ Support manufacturing activities in other departments as directed by the supervisor.
+ Perform area equipment and process validations according to validation procedures.
+ Execute job duties in compliance with healthcare laws, regulations, and industry codes.
+ Incorporate organizational values and essentials in interactions with others.
Essential Skills
+ High School diploma or Associates Degree with a minimum of five years of relevant manufacturing experience or Bachelors’ Degree in a science discipline with one to three years of experience.
+ Knowledge of cGMP operations.
+ Ability to understand and execute established written instructions.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Basic math skills, including knowledge of the metric system.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word.
+ Experience with computerized inventory systems such as SAP is a plus.
+ Good written and verbal communication skills.
+ Understanding of the risks inherent to the processing, handling, and storage of hazardous materials.
+ Ability to operate stand-up and sit-down forklifts.
+ Good organizational skills and ability to adapt to changes in the schedule.
Work Environment
The work environment involves physical requirements such as climbing, balancing, stooping, reaching, standing, and walking. The technician may need to push, lift, and carry objects occasionally up to 10 pounds. Repetitive movements of wrists, hands, and fingers are required. The environment includes exposure to noise, moving parts, chemicals, odors, fumes, and dust. Visual acuity is essential for tasks such as reading, writing, and analyzing to ensure accuracy and thoroughness.

This is a Contract position based out of Clayton, NC.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.16 - $21.16/hr.
