Job Title: Phlebotomist - Part TimeJob Description
We are seeking a dedicated Phlebotomist to join our team on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for drawing blood from patients and performing specimen processing in a doctor's office setting. You will play a vital role in collecting and receiving biological specimens, entering them into our computer system, and preparing samples for analytical testing.
Responsibilities
+ Draw blood from patients and perform specimen processing in a doctor's office setting.
+ Collect and receive biological specimens and ensure their proper entry into the computer system.
+ Prepare samples for analytical testing and distribute specimens to the appropriate analytical area.
+ Perform specified analytical testing as assigned.
+ Adhere to the guidelines outlined in the Code of Conduct.
Essential Skills
+ 1+ years of phlebotomy experience.
+ Proficient in blood draw and specimen processing.
+ Experience in laboratory and patient care.
+ Comfortable working independently.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ GED or High School Diploma required.
Work Environment
This position is based in a doctor's office where you will collaborate closely with medical assistants. The role requires part-time availability from Monday to Thursday from 7 AM to 1 PM, and Friday from 7 AM to 11 AM. Enjoy the opportunity for career growth, with potential for promotion to a Phleb Tech 2 after six months and a subsequent pay increase. The environment is conducive to professional development, with an emphasis on promoting from within.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Gilbert, AZ.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.36/hr.
