    Job Title: Mechanical Engineer

    4 month contract! Can start immediately!!!

     

    We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer for a 4 month contract project! This can start right away

     

    This role will support sustaining engineering and process enhancement. This individual will manage Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) and maintain accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs) primarily. There will also be responsibilities troubleshooting product failures. The role requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and collaboration across cross-functional teams.

    Essential Skills

    + Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. (degree is preferred but not required)

    + 3–5 years in mechanical design or sustaining engineering within a manufacturing environment. (Open to candidates with 1+ year of experience)

    + Experience with ECNs, BOM management, and troubleshooting product failures.

    + Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks preferred).

    + Familiarity with PLM/ERP systems for BOM and revision control.

    + Knowledge of manufacturing processes (machining, injection molding, sheet metal, etc.).

    This is a Contract position based out of Valparaiso, IN.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $34.00 - $41.00/hr.
