    Electrical Design Opening in Mineola, NY!

    Job Description:

    + Design of electrical systems under the guidance of a professional engineer including: electrical distribution, grounding, back-up power, general power distribution, lighting design and control as well as fire alarm and lightning protection systems.

    + Perform system design calculations and analyze electrical distribution options under the guidance of a Senior Engineer

    + Review and learn relative building codes and standards.

    + Prepare design documents to detail the power, lighting and fire alarm systems drawing

    + Coordinate work with architect and engineers of other disciplines.

    Qualifications:

    + P.E (plus)

    + Revit Experience

    + Self-motivated and enjoys collaborative problem solving.

    + Good planning, organizational and communications skills.

    + Interests in sustainable and innovative approach to design.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mineola, NY.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $67.00/hr.
