    Job Description

    We are seeking a dedicated Histotechnologist to join our team during the second and third shifts, from 3pm to 11:30pm and 11pm to 7am. This role involves overseeing lab supervision and training histotechnicians, ensuring the highest standards of sample compliance and quality assurance testing.

    Responsibilities

    + Supervise laboratory operations and train histotechnicians.

    + Ensure compliance with sample testing protocols.

    + Conduct quality assurance testing to maintain lab standards.

    Essential Skills

    + Possess supervisory skills.

    + Demonstrate expertise in sample compliance.

    + Conduct quality assurance testing.

    + Hold a Bachelor's Degree in science from an accredited college or university.

    + Have HTL(ASCP) certification by the American Society of Clinical Pathology Board of Certification (ASCP BOC) or equivalent.

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + Completion of Path and Lab ICCE Career Ladder requirements for Histology Technologist (HTL) IV/Specialist within six months in the position.

    + ASCP Certification.

    + Minimum of five years of experience in the field.

    Work Environment

    The position operates within a laboratory setting during second and third shifts. The role requires adherence to safety standards and protocols while maintaining professional attire suitable for a lab environment.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Permanent position based out of Charleston, SC.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $46000.00 - $62400.00/yr.
