Job Title: Shipping and Receiving Specialist

Job Description

Join a dynamic team responsible for receiving and unloading shipments of seed corn. You will play a crucial role in sorting and organizing products within the warehouse, utilizing equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks. This position requires maintaining a strong attention to detail and quality, while adhering to safety guidelines and job requirements. On-the-job training will be provided to ensure your success.

Responsibilities

+ Receive and unload shipments of seed corn.

+ Sort and organize products in the warehouse.

+ Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks.

+ Maintain strong attention to detail and ensure quality control.

+ Follow safety guidelines and adhere to job requirements.

+ Collaborate effectively within a team-oriented environment.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in general labor and logistics.

+ Ability to operate forklifts.

+ Capability to lift up to 50 lbs.

+ Ability to stand for an 8-hour shift.

+ Experience in shipping and receiving.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ No diploma or certifications required.

This is a Contract position based out of Ames, IA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
