Maintenance Technician

Job Description

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of manufacturing equipment and systems by performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs. This role plays a critical part in minimizing downtime and maintaining production efficiency in an industrial environment.

Responsibilities

+ Perform routine and preventive maintenance on machinery, equipment, and systems.

+ Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues and implement timely repairs.

+ Conduct inspections to identify potential equipment failures and recommend corrective actions.

+ Maintain accurate maintenance records, including service logs and parts usage.

+ Collaborate with production teams to schedule maintenance with minimal disruption.

+ Install, test, and calibrate new equipment and machinery.

+ Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

+ Maintain inventory of tools, parts, and supplies.

+ Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and suggest process enhancements.

Essential Skills

+ 2+ years of experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance OR technical certification or associates degree only.

+ Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and control systems.

+ Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.

+ Proficiency with hand and power tools, diagnostic equipment, and PLC systems.

+ Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

+ Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends if needed.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Technical Certification or Associate's degree is a huge plus.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $64000.00/yr.

2-3 weeks PTO, 4-6% 401K Match, 11 Holidays and a clean work environment

Workplace Type

This is a fully onsite position in Resaca,GA.
