    Job Title: Carpenter Foreman

    Job Description

    We are seeking a skilled Carpenter Foreman to assist with apartment turnovers and remodeling projects, focusing on bathrooms and various apartment complexes. This role requires a blend of technical carpentry skills, property maintenance knowledge, and leadership abilities. Success in this position depends on efficiency, safety, and quality control to ensure apartments are move-in ready while minimizing downtime.

    Responsibilities

    + Oversee apartment turnover projects and ensure timely completion.

    + Conduct remodels of bathrooms and other apartment complex areas.

    + Repair or replace doors, cabinets, flooring, and other woodwork.

    + Utilize hand and power tools such as saws, drills, nail guns, and measuring equipment effectively.

    + Read and interpret blueprints and layouts to execute repairs or upgrades.

    + Perform rough and finish carpentry work, including framing, finishing, and trim work.

    + Incorporate basic electrical and plumbing tasks as needed.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in construction, drywall, and blueprint reading.

    + Experience in framing, finishing, and trim work.

    + Ability to use hand and power tools efficiently.

    + Strong skills in carpentry, including rough and finish carpentry.

    + Basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with spray foam applications.

    + Knowledge of electrical low voltage systems.

    + Basic plumbing skills.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Buffalo, NY.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $35.00/hr.
