Job Title: Material Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Material Handler to join our first shift team. This role focuses on inventory management, accurate documentation, and clear communication with leadership to ensure a smooth shutdown on the site. You will be responsible for packing up products and sending them to a different site.

Responsibilities

+ Perform daily inventory counts, cycle audits, and reconcile discrepancies.

+ Maintain accurate records and notes on stock movement, damages, and adjustments.

+ Communicate inventory status and issues to management and team leads.

+ Receive, inspect, and organize incoming shipments.

+ Pick, pack, and prepare orders for outbound delivery.

+ Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, barcode scanners) safely.

+ Assist with general warehouse upkeep and organization.

Essential Skills

+ General labor skills.

+ Experience in packaging, packing, and shipping and receiving.

+ Ability to operate a cherry picker and forklift.

+ Proficiency in labeling and material handling.

Work Environment

You will be working as part of a team of two Material Handlers. The work involves operating warehouse equipment and requires adherence to safety protocols. The role operates during the first shift hours.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Kennesaw, GA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $18.00/hr.
