Job Title: Facilities / Chemical Coordinator

Job Description

The Facilities / Chemical Coordinator is responsible for managing and overseeing all chemical and hazardous waste operations. This role involves working on-site to manage inventory, report inspections, coordinate deliveries, and handle shipments. The position requires both physical work and computer-based tasks.

Responsibilities

+ Conduct inventory management while on-site.

+ Perform visual inspection reporting.

+ Coordinate and schedule incoming and outgoing shipments.

+ Receive chemical shipments.

+ Stock oil, chemicals, and spill control materials as per client process requirements.

+ Prepare materials for transport and delivery according to client work order requests.

+ Store materials in the main chemical storage yard using pallets, racks, or containment devices.

+ Conduct weekly inspections of the storage yard.

+ Inspect waste containers to ensure they meet DOT packaging requirements before loading.

+ Monitor telemetry on used oil tanks and notify when tanks are full and ready for shipment.

+ Properly label containers for industrial waste accumulation.

+ Load trucks for hazardous and non-hazardous waste shipments.

Essential Skills

+ 1+ years of experience in inventory management and scheduling shipments.

+ 1+ year of experience in an industrial environment.

+ Proficiency in customer service, inventory management, and computer skills.

+ Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, SAP, ERP, and MRP systems.

+ Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.

+ Intermediate knowledge of spreadsheet and database software.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Exposure to industrial safety programs and training.

+ Experience in chemicals or aerospace, preferred

+ HAZWOPER certification preferred.

Work Environment

This position is on-site at a client's location, requiring 70% of the workday to be spent outside. Employees must be comfortable working in various weather conditions and adhere to a dress code that includes steel-toed shoes and business casual attire. The typical work hours are from 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Phoenix, AZ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
