Job Title: General Production Worker

Job Description

Join a dynamic team in a packaging manufacturing company that specializes in producing various types of paper and wax paper for the food industry. Work alongside a supportive group of colleagues, learning and growing in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

+ Operate as part of a manufacturing line with 1 operator and 2-3 other production employees.

+ Participate in rotating positions to gain cross-training and expertise in various tasks.

+ Build, load, and unload pallets while adhering to standard operating procedures.

+ Ensure all assembly line processes are followed accurately.

+ Work collaboratively in a team environment, with each member responsible for specific manufacturing tasks.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in assembly line and production line operations.

+ Ability to work effectively in a team setting.

+ Capability to follow detailed processes and instructions.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in boxing, palletizing, loading, and unloading is a plus.

Work Environment

Work in a packaging manufacturing facility focused on producing paper products for the food industry. Join a team-oriented environment where shifts are available in three options: 1st shift from 7 am to 3:10 pm, 2nd shift from 3 pm to 11:10 pm, and 3rd shift from 11 pm to 7:10 am.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of WESTFIELD, MA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $18.00/hr.
