Job Title: Industrial Maintenance Technician
Job Description
As an Industrial Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for recording maintenance repair activities in a computer-based maintenance management system, working with PLCs, CNCs, and multi-access robots on a daily basis. You will use basic test equipment such as multi-meters, and work with hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical drive systems. Your role will involve repairing and maintaining plant machinery and equipment such as lathes, mills, welding and brazing equipment, presses, and automated assembly lines. A fundamental understanding of electrical, hydraulics, and pneumatic schematics, as well as mechanical drawings, is required to solve problems efficiently and reduce downtime. A strong commitment to safety and quality, along with excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and communication skills, is essential.
Responsibilities
+ Record maintenance repair activities in a computer-based maintenance management system.
+ Work with PLCs, CNCs, and multi-access robots daily.
+ Use basic test equipment such as multi-meters, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical drive systems.
+ Repair and maintain plant machinery and equipment such as lathes, mills, welding and brazing equipment, presses, and automated assembly lines.
+ Understand electrical, hydraulics, and pneumatic schematics, as well as mechanical drawings to solve problems timely.
+ Strive to reduce downtime by working efficiently and performing root cause analysis.
+ Commit to safety and quality standards.
+ Work and communicate effectively as part of a team.

Work Environment
The facility is climate controlled and maintains a clean and safe environment. You will work with CNC equipment, robotic welders, multi-access robots, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, conveyors, and mechanical drive systems. Training hubs are available for working on equipment that is off the manufacturing floor.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Durham, NC.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $34.00/hr.
