    Job Title: Medical Device Assembly Technician

    Job Description

    Join our team in the manufacturing of medical devices, including catheter assembly under a microscope. This role is vital in ensuring the highest quality standards in medical device production.

    Responsibilities

    + Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures, Line Clearance, Work Instructions, assembly methods, product handling methods, production drawings, Good Documentation Practices, current Good Manufacturing Practices, and Safety requirements.

    + Complete training successfully on production tasks and understand travelers/routers, material identification, microscope usage, and production/inspection tools and equipment needed for product builds.

    + Operate tools and equipment and complete documentation as required.

    + Perform equipment set-up, operation, and in-process inspection to accomplish assigned tasks.

    + Collaborate with Engineers and Supervisors to ensure product integrity and quality.

    + Assist Engineers in developing process documentation.

    + Conduct inventory counts.

    + Perform additional duties as assigned based on verbal instructions.

    Essential Skills

    + Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in medical device assembly and production or small electronics.

    + Hands-on experience in manufacturing/production environment or prototyping.

    + Prior microscope and medical assembly experience.

    + Experience in a cleanroom environment.

    + Ability to understand and perform in-process inspections to assure workmanship and quality of in-process medical devices.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience in manufacturing catheter products is a plus.

    + Experience working with adhesives (different Loctite), EFD dispensers, and UV curing systems.

    + Strong communication skills.

    Work Environment

     

    This position offers 10 openings on the 2nd shift from 2pm to 10:45pm. You will be working in a cleanroom environment with all necessary safety equipment provided.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Carlsbad, CA.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $33.35/hr.
