    Machine Operator

    Job Description

    We are seeking a skilled Metal Processor to join our team with opportunities available for both day and night shifts. The ideal candidate will have experience in metal manufacturing machine operations and a strong mechanical aptitude. Interviews will be scheduled for one hour and no demonstrations are required.

    Responsibilities

    + Operate machinery such as press brake, shear, saw, and burn table.

    + Read and interpret blueprints to ensure precision in metal processing.

    + Utilize hand tools and tape measures for accurate measurements.

    + Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment.

    + Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment.

    Essential Skills

    + Minimum of 6 months experience in metal manufacturing machine operation.

    + Proficiency with brake press, shear, saw, burn table, and blueprint reading.

    + Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand tools.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience as a car mechanic is advantageous.

    + Ability to accurately read tape measures and blueprints.

    + Familiarity with shear press and saw cut operations.

    Work Environment

     

    Day Shift: Monday – Thursday from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM; Friday from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, with mandatory 8 hours overtime each Friday. Optional overtime is available each Saturday from 6:00 AM to 11:00 AM.

     

    2nd Shift: Monday – Thursday from 5:00 PM to 5:00 AM, with 8 hours overtime included in Thursday’s shift, and optional overtime each Saturday from 6:00 AM to 11:00 AM.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Blair, NE.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $26.00/hr.
