Job Title: Automation Maintenance Technician I

Job Description

Responsibilities

+ Perform service and regular preventative maintenance work on conveyor systems, fabricating, installing, and repairing as planned while keeping maintenance records.

+ Participate in testing and troubleshooting problems with equipment and facility systems, including conveyors, v-belt transfers, Bombay unit sortation system, carton erectors, banding machines, MCC cabinets, stretch wrappers, vision systems, scanners, printers, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, elevators, and forklifts.

+ Repair or replace control devices such as switches, photo eyes, proximity sensors, pushbuttons, contactors, and motor starters as needed.

+ Set up and operate welders, drill press, grinder, hand tools, and other metalworking equipment as necessary.

+ Troubleshoot microcontrollers like Omron, the person, Mitsubishi, Keyence, and Siemens PLCs, identifying correct I/O points and matching addressing with machine schematics.

+ Evaluate, detect, and report equipment issues, defective materials, improper operations, and unusual conditions.

Shifts- Multiple Shifts available paying $28-$31.

This is a Permanent position based out of Newville, PA.

The pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $64480.00/yr.
