Job Title: Maintenance Engineer & Groundskeeper ($20-35/hr.)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to support our dynamic team. The role involves completing punch outs and unit turns for move-ins, troubleshooting and installing appliances, updating old outlets to GFCI, performing light landscaping cleanup, and other duties around apartment complexes.

We are also seeking a skilled groundskeeper ($19/hr.) to upkeep the premise and facility. Both opportunities can start as soon as possible after interviewing.

Responsibilities

+ Complete punch outs and unit turns for move-ins.

+ Troubleshoot and install appliances.

+ Update old outlets to GFCI.

+ Perform light landscaping cleanup.

+ Conduct various maintenance tasks around apartment complexes as required.

Essential Skills

+ 2+ years of electrical experience including changing outlets, working on breaker boxes, and troubleshooting commercial electric.

+ 2+ years of basic plumbing experience including snaking drains and repairing bathroom piping.

+ 2+ years of HVAC experience including preventive maintenance and winterization.

+ Groundskeeping & Janitorial experience is a plus for the groundskeeping role.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience troubleshooting and working on boilers (no license required).

+ Skills in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, facilities maintenance, painting, carpentry, and boiler operations.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Shaker Heights, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $35.00/hr.
