Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor

Job Description

Oversee a team of approximately 20 technicians to ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of all production equipment. Drive a proactive maintenance culture and coordinate seamlessly with Production, Controls, QA, HR, and external vendors. Support planning for both scheduled and unscheduled outages and maintain CMMS data accuracy.

Responsibilities

+ Ensure smooth and reliable production startups.

+ Utilize industrial circuits, motor controls, drives, sensors, safety relays, and MCC fundamentals for electrical competencies.

+ Apply knowledge of conveyors, gearboxes, pumps, pneumatics, hydraulics, bearings, alignment, and mechanical troubleshooting.

+ Read basic ladder logic and understand PLC/HMI fault messages.

+ Interpret prints, schematics, PM procedures, and OEM documentation.

+ Ensure corrective and preventive maintenance tasks are properly executed and documented.

+ Support reliability improvements and root-cause analysis on recurring issues.

+ Use CMMS (e.g., Ultimo, PLEX) to manage work orders and track PM compliance.

+ Prepare large, coordinated maintenance plans including vendor scheduling.

+ Conduct pre-job planning with drawings, LOTO scopes, permits, tools, and manpower.

+ Ensure weekend crew work is fully prepared and oversee hand-over with clear expectations.

+ Provide daily direction and prioritization to technicians.

+ Build a motivated team through coaching and mentorship.

+ Communicate clearly across shifts and departments.

+ Conduct regular performance check-ins and provide structured feedback.

+ Identify skill gaps and coordinate training plans.

+ Partner with HR on progression, corrective actions, and recognition.

+ Support onboarding and cross-training within the maintenance team.

+ Apply root-cause tools during troubleshooting and make fast, informed decisions.

+ Review and approve timecards, PTO, scheduling, and shift adherence.

+ Prepare weekly maintenance reports and KPIs.

+ Ensure tool control and spare parts usage accuracy.

Work Environment

Participate in weekend rotations every third weekend to ensure proper maintenance. Work Monday through Friday for 8+ hours in a climate-controlled, FDA-regulated environment.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Liberty, SC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $115000.00/yr.

40 hours of PTO in the first year, increasing over time.; Full benefits including health, medical, dental, and HSA from day one.; 6% 401K match.

Workplace Type

This is a fully onsite position in Liberty,SC.
