Job Title: Material Handler
Job Description
As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for managing the flow of materials in a manufacturing and warehouse environment. This includes receiving, inspecting, and recording incoming raw materials, as well as ensuring the accuracy of materials pulled and issued for production. You will play a key role in maintaining accurate inventory records and supporting the shipping department in preparing finished goods for outgoing shipments.
Responsibilities
+ Receive, inspect, and record all incoming raw materials.
+ Verify quantities and quality against packing lists and purchase orders.
+ Pull and issue materials as required for production jobs.
+ Maintain accurate records of all material movements to the production floor.
+ Return unused or excess materials from production back to inventory.
+ Ensure materials are properly labeled, stored, and recorded in the inventory system.
+ Package, label, and prepare finished goods for outgoing shipments.
+ Coordinate with the shipping department to ensure orders are complete and accurately documented.
+ Perform inventory counts.
+ Stand continuously for an 8-hour shift and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
Essential Skills
+ 1+ year of material handling experience in a manufacturing or warehouse setting.
+ 1+ year of forklift experience.
+ 1+ year of experience with Microsoft Office applications.
+ 1+ year of data entry and inventory tracking experience.
+ Forklift certification.
+ Experience with Epicor is a plus.

Work Environment
The work environment is a 55,000 sq/ft facility that is well-lit, organized, and climate-controlled. Employees will stand continuously for an 8-hour shift and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.

This is a Contract position based out of Dayton, OH.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
