    Job Title: Machine Operator

    Job Description

    This position involves operating and maintaining fermentation tanks and food production machinery, including packaging machinery, labelers, vats, dryers, and conveyor systems. The role is crucial for ensuring that all machinery operates efficiently and safely.

    Responsibilities

    + Operate and maintain fermentation tanks and food production machinery.

    + Perform sanitation duties to ensure a clean and safe working environment.

    + Accurately weigh and count products.

    + Check in and out materials accurately.

    + Complete disassembly, cleaning, and reassembly (DCRs) safely and efficiently.

    + Print labels accurately.

    + Conduct minor quality inspections of products.

    + Record data of the products being manufactured.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience with fermentation and sterile processing.

    + Knowledge of food manufacturing processes.

    + Experience with Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures (minimum 1 year).

    + Experience operating production machinery in a GMP environment (minimum 1 year).

    + Proficiency in sanitation duties (minimum 1 year).

    + Packaging experience (minimum 1 year).

    + Capability in documentation review and quality inspection.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Ability to record production data.

    + Experience with aseptic processes.

    Work Environment

     

    Work in a GMP environment within a climate-controlled facility. We have 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift openings. Safety is a priority, requiring adherence to GMP codes including wearing safety glasses, steel-toe shoes, pants without holes, hair nets, and beard nets

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Verona, WI.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $25.00/hr.
