Now Hiring 3rd Shift Maintenance Technicians!

**Location:** Cedar Falls, Iowa

**Shift:** Monday–Friday, Midnight to 8:00 AM (Overtime may be required)

Position Overview

We are looking for a skilled **Maintenance Electrical Technician** to join our team. This role is critical to ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of our production equipment. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills and experience working with electrical systems, PLCs, and automation equipment.

Key Responsibilities

+ Perform electrical, electronic, and equipment control maintenance with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency.

+ Troubleshoot and repair production equipment at both mechanical and electrical levels, including machine controls, robots, HMIs, PLCs, motors, drives, and communication systems.

+ Read and interpret electronic circuits, PLC logic diagrams, and CAD electrical/mechanical drawings.

+ Install and troubleshoot electrical and electro-mechanical components such as motors, VFDs, motion systems, relays, termination blocks, and sensors.

+ Maintain and update automation equipment software.

+ Conduct electrical safety compliance checks and control system troubleshooting as assigned.

Qualifications

+ High school diploma or equivalent required.

+ Minimum 1 year of experience in maintenance with exposure to PLCs, electrical systems, and HMIs.

+ Proficiency in troubleshooting hydraulics, pneumatics, pumps, and motors.

+ Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.

+ Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal).

+ Willingness to work overtime as needed.

+ Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Work Environment

+ 3rd shift schedule: Midnight to 8:00 AM, Monday–Friday.

+ Overtime may involve starting 4 hours early or staying 4 hours late based on workload.
